The 30-second answer
Use Replika if you want an emotionally attentive AI companion — someone to talk to, journal with, maybe simulate a relationship — entirely inside one app.
Use Aiffinity if you want an AI that drafts your messages to real people, pays your bills, coordinates your group chat, and maintains a portable profile of how you actually are.

What Replika does better
- Emotional texture. Replika's model of a relationship — mood tracking, remembering emotional highs and lows, roleplay capacity — is specifically engineered for warmth. Aiven is warm, but it isn't trying to be a simulated partner.
- Single-app simplicity. Everything happens inside Replika. You don't connect Gmail or Slack; the whole surface is the conversation. For some people, that cleanness is the feature.
- Avatar presence. Replika invests heavily in its 3D avatars and VR experience. If you want a visible character to talk to, Replika's is the most polished in the category.
What Aiffinity does better
1. It writes to your actual humans
Replika is a closed loop — you and your Replika. Aiffinity is the opposite: your Aiven is useful precisely because it drafts to the people already in your life. The group chat with your mum, the Slack DM with your co-founder, the WhatsApp thread with your three closest friends — Aiven shows up in those.
2. It acts in the world
Your Replika can listen to you complain about your inbox. Aiven can triage it — draft the replies, flag the ones you want to see, and send everything you approve. 170+ connected apps means it scales across most of modern life: calendar, fitness, money, music, home automation.
3. It models who you are, not who you want to be
Replika's memory includes what you told it. Aiven's Individual Print is observational: it measures your real communication patterns, integrates (opt-in) signals from music, reading, workouts, and calendar, and grounds personalization signals in actual behaviour. Drafts feel like you because the model that wrote them actually saw you at work.
4. Your identity is portable
Replika memory lives inside Replika forever. Your Individual Print is exportable and can be granted to any compatible AI via OAuth. If a new tool launches next year, it doesn't have to start from scratch understanding you.
When to pick which
Pick Replika if the emotional loop of "talk to my AI about my day" is the whole product for you. Replika is the most developed product in that niche.
Pick Aiffinity if you want an AI whose main job is to help you communicate with (and take action for) the real people in your life, and to carry your profile context forward as AI keeps changing.
Pick both if you use Replika for a specific emotional need and want a separate, more instrumental AI for everything else.
Migrating from Replika
Replika's chat export lives in the app's settings. Save the transcripts, and in Aiffinity open Aiven → Import → From Replika. Your history is ingested locally on-device and used only to enrich your Individual Print — we don't retain the raw transcripts in the cloud. Details in the imports guide.
Frequently asked questions
Is Aiffinity an AI girlfriend or AI companion app?
No. Aiffinity is a messenger with a personal AI (Aiven) that drafts messages in your voice, acts across 170+ connected apps, and helps you communicate with real people. It isn't designed as a simulated romantic relationship. If that's what you're looking for, Replika is the more appropriate product.
Can I import my Replika memory into Aiffinity?
Replika does not currently offer a full export of its internal memory, but you can export chat transcripts from the Replika settings. Aiffinity's import flow can ingest those transcripts and use them as a source signal for your Individual Print.
Is Aiffinity free like Replika's basic tier?
Yes. The Aiffinity waitlist is free and will grant 500 AI tokens at launch. A premium tier with higher quotas and advanced agent features is planned; the free tier will remain useful on its own.
