You connect X (Twitter) with a normal OAuth flow — Aiven only gets the scopes you approve, and you can revoke access from your Aiven dashboard or from X (Twitter) itself at any time.
Open Aiven → Connections → Add X (Twitter). The whole thing takes well under a minute, and there's nothing to configure outside Aiffinity.
Privacy
Aiven only ever keeps what the integration needs to function, encrypted in transit and at rest. You can disconnect X (Twitter) from the same dashboard, which tears down the token and purges the cached data. Details in our security model and privacy policy.
